This year’s World Food Summit focused on combatting climate change, and addressed how the global food systems affect climate change and conversely how the global food systems are affected by climate change. On 5 and 6 May 2022, the Danish Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries Mr. Rasmus Prehn, hosted the sixth annual World Food Summit.
The World Food Summit is an annual accelerator of the actions required to transform the food systems to become more sustainable and responsible in response to the Sustainable Development Goals introduced by the UN.
This year's World Food Summit was organized against the backdrop of the UNFood Systems Summit held in September 2021. The results from the World Food Summit look towards the future COP's.
